Deramakot Wildlife Adventure (Sabah)
Deramakot Itinerary
Duration: 3Days/2Nights
Day 1 (D)
The meeting point for the Deramakot adventure would be in Telupid. The Deramakot team will wait for you at the 77 Cafe and Restaurant at around 12noon. Enjoy your lunch at this cafe (at your own expense) before we begin the journey to Deramakot Forest Reserve. At latest we should leave Telupid is at 2pm as the transfer to Deramakot center takes between 2 to 3 hours by road.
Upon arrival at Deramakot Center, check in and be briefed on the next following activities.
Dinner and followed by Night Safari on the back of a pickup truck. The departure time depends on the weather conditions, animal behavior and latest sightings. Your Safari will last around 2 hours.
Overnight at the Deramakot Field Center.
Day 2 (B/D/L)
Answer the early morning call of the jungle on a 4x4 Safari and witness the sun emerge in between the mist and canopies of trees.
Return to the Deramakot center for breakfast and embark on a trail in the area suggested by the guide based on your interest. Nice bird watching activities around the camp is also an option.
Spend late morning resting before lunch. After lunch head on for another 4x4 Safari adventure. Return to the center in the late afternoon and this time around witness the different hues painted across the sky as the sun retires for the day. After dinner, go for an included night walk with your guide or or an other 4x4 night drive. Overnight at the Deramakot Field Center.
Day 3 (B)
Wake up early for an optional morning walk before breakfast. After breakfast we leave Deramakot and depart to Telupid town for your onward travel.

Every effort will be made to keep to the timetable and the itinerary, but no guarantee will be made that these will be kept.
Disclaimer
The tourist tax is not included in the price and must be paid locally. (RM10.- per room and night). Further, travel insurance, all services not mentioned in the itinerary, tips, soft and alcoholic drinks are not included in the price.
