Malaysia is a beautiful tropical country located in South East Asia. It consists of two regions – Peninsular or West Malaysia and East Malaysia (Malaysian Borneo). The two regions are separated by the South China Sea. The country is made up of 13 states and 3 Federal Territories. According to the country's department of statistics, in 2016, the country's population is estimated at 31.7 million person which consists of ethnic Bumiputera, Chinese, Indian and others.

West Malaysia offers its visitors the sights of busy cities - impressive concrete jungles, colonial heritage, beautiful islands and tea plantations to name a few. This region is also known for its majestic mountains such as Mount Kinabalu that has been accorded as UNESCO World heritage status; the wildlife corridor at the Kinabatangan River, the remote tribes such as the Iban, Kadazan and Murut; and lets not miss out on the tropical rainforests of Danum Valley and Tabin Wildlife.
